Religious leaders are very important when it comes to provision of palliative care in children.
They form part of the multidisciplinary team required to provide holistic care .In view of this PACAM organised two meetings to sensitise religious leaders in palliative care including children’ palliative care. The leaders had a presentation on introduction to children’s palliative care which included definition, when CPC begins, eligible children, the role of health care workers and other providers and on models of. About 38 religious leaders so far have been sensitised and more meetings have been organised. We are planning to reach traditional healers too
